- If You Are A Healthy Individual and taking care of a infected person or going to a crowded place, it is advised to wear a MASK.
- Clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water as soon as you touch it or when you remove the mask.
- While removing, remove it from behind.
- If you are alone, pull it off.
- At home ? Do not use it if not required.
- You can reduce the use of it while isolating yourself most of the time.
- Experts say – prolonged use of masks should be avoided as they lose effectiveness.
- If used for longer time, ensure it should not suffocate you.
- Choose appropriate shape & size. It should not be so tight on your face.
- Longer use of a mask causes headache and face pain. You may start feeling weak & uncomfortable.
- Do not re-use single-use masks & dispose it properly after use in a closed dustbin.
It is recommended to use a mask as a precaution when you are observing illness like cough, fever, or some respiratory issues.
