Be active

Take commitment from your Valentine on being physically and mentally fit. It does not mean you have to hit the gym or yoga classes. Most of us are living a sedentary lifestyle today. Exercising together is also a great way to spend some quality time together as a couple. It will help to reduce harmful cholesterol levels, which ultimately bring activeness.

Eat right

Say no to junk food. Motivate each other to eat at least one healthy meal every day. Treat yourself and your loved one with a low-fat diet and healthy foods like more use of fruits and vegetables rather than tempting for sweets.

Keep heart healthy

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.”

Keep your heart healthy as your Valentine is inside it. Regular physical activity can help to control the risk of heart diseases. Sharing and caring is another way to distress your partner. Improving mental health can increase your chances of living longer.

If you or your Valentine is having hypertension or Diabetes, then it must be essential to align with the guidelines by a healthcare provider because these conditions may lead to heart-related impairment.

Be safe

Many times we see a rise in cases of suicides or self-harm cases during Valentine’s Day! They travel away from home for an adventurous trip or indulge in other risky or unsafe activities. Use possible safety guards while riding is the equal responsibility of both partners. Instead, take a long, romantic walk with your beloved.

Many times couples are obsessed with a perfect date to celebrate this day. But for some, this day may turn into something more. Yes! I am talking about having physical closeness. Remember to share your feelings with your partner and have an open discussion about sex. Women are more prone to sexual violence than men. If your partner is a woman, make her secure. Always remember to stay safe and be protected.

A perfect valentine gift

If your Valentine is an alcoholic, try to push him/her for moderation. Though alcohol provides sudden pleasure its long-term effect can be harmful to health. Drinking alcohol or using drugs likely to be a higher risk of violence. Similarly, smoking should be avoided when we want to be healthy. Help your loved one quit smoking on this Valentine’s Day. It can be a perfect gift for your Valentine.

Understand the Valentine

A person who accepts you as you are is your Valentine. Sharing life’s joy and challenges with your Valentine makes more connective on the emotional front. Let your sweetie know you’ll be their quit partner for as long as it takes. Quality time is the most meaningful gift to your partner.

Consider your Valentine may have specific chronic ailments like Diabetes, allergies, asthma, or other conditions. The choices come when you choose over food, travel destinations, or even gifts you offer for them. Be sensitive enough!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Be healthy and safe,
In all that you do.

Valentine’s day can be a reminder of your own or loved one’s health. Let’s have a healthy Valentin’s day!
